Raising money and awareness for the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation
The “I Love Orange” day is an orange celebration day. We’ll be saluting all things SU orange which help make our community great! Various activities will take place throughout the day of Friday and festival goers are encouraged to wear orange to show your support. The Summit, TOPS, and other sponsors and vendors will be working with the festival to raise money for the Jim and Juli Boeheim Foundation on Friday.
Raising money and awareness for the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund
On Saturday, with the help from The Summit Federal Credit Union, the focus will be “Pink Power” to bring attention and support to breast cancer research. The day will start with the "PINK POWER" breast cancer survivor/remembrance walk. Festival goers are encouraged to wear pink on Saturday. Select restaurants and food vendors will offer two samples for $1 to those with a pink wristband. A limited number of pink wristbands will be available at The Summit Federal Credit Union tent. Wristbands can be obtained with a minimum donation of $5 to the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. Other various sponsors and vendors will also be running specials that will raise money for the local charity.
